You hear it from pro players, you hear it from shoutcasters, you hear it from everyone: “Armor pen builds aren’t really viable because it’s not good against high armor targets.” It’s not true. At all. Flat armor and magic penetration never gets worse.
This is one of my pet peeves, so much so…
The point they’re trying to make is that percentage does more later in the game, 20 pen from Sorc’s is always 20, but the 40% from void can be 12 at lvl 1 or 80 when they have 200 MR. So of the two options, percentage increases throughout while as you said flat stays constant, thus it gets “devalued” in the sense the other option becomes more efficient.

What do you do when you’ve been waiting over 6 months for a day to hang out with someone and they cancel, on the day, after not calling you back the night prior despite 4 hours of waiting by the phone, because they’re too tired?
